Must have current license in the State of Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Valid Driver''s License is a must. Seeking staff for the following Areas:Lawrenceville - Main Hub Duluth Atlanta Cumming Woodstock Behavioral Health Connections provides 24-7 on demand comprehensive mental health services to include: mobile assessments, tele-video assessments, and tele-video psychiatric consultations for patients in medical facilities. All services focus on the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and disposition of patients needing mental health evaluation, recommendation and care. Psychiatric consultation services can be delivered in all cities via tele-video.Visit our site for more information on BHC: Behavioral Health Clinician (''Assessor'') provides mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the Assessor''s assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services. Mobile Assessment Team Evaluators (''Assessors'') may also provide tele-therapy services for clients as assigned.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides hospital-based crisis management and supportive brief counseling services to patient that present with a primary or secondary behavioral health concern in the emergency rooms and/or inpatient units. Provides consultation, guidance and leadership to patients and staff in the emergency departments. Provides consultation to inpatient patients as referred for evaluation and placement of care recommendations. Assist in the diagnosis, 1013/2013 assessment and ongoing management, risk assessments and placement of patients in the emergency department and inpatient floors. Ensures assigned behavioral health patients have adequate discharge plans for care. Support psychiatrists and advanced practice nurses in their role within the medical model. Maintains working knowledge of regulatory requirements, including TJC, Medicare, Medicaid, State of Georgia, and other payers. Is a knowledgeable leader of programmatic changes in State of Georgia expectations. Completes clinical documentation to meet standards of care and documentation requirements. Mobile assessment experience preferred.EDUCATIONMaster''s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONCurrent license in the State of Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (''LPC'') or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (''LCSW'').Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital.
