The N454 Enterprise Cybersecurity & IT Infrastructure Solutions Department, part of the Enterprise Intelligence Solutions Division, helps our federal government sponsors to respond to shifting priorities, reliably deliver data and technology, and enable insights to secure the mission.N454 is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to help our government sponsors address complex issues of critical national and global significance. We are looking for an individual who understands how to define and analyze challenging sponsor challenges and apply processes, approaches, and appropriate toolsets to solving them.Job responsibilities include:Assist government leaders in defining the vision and determining the direction of change through a period of major government transformation.Guide government leaders in identifying, exploring, and framing complex problems that require highly innovative solutions.Design and present sponsor workshops or conduct interviews to understand current practices, assess current operations, document business requirements, and design future state process opportunities.Propose innovative approaches to achieve target outcomes.Advance frameworks and methodologies within enterprise transformation environments.Develop high level and detailed governance and process documentation.Using hands on proficiency with visual modeling tools (e.g., Visio, BPMN, Tableau, etc.) to develop use cases and user stories.Provide technical and/or task or project leadership as needed.Be able to interface with technical experts and leaders in Government and MITRE organizations and build trusted relationships.Required Qualifications: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain/maintain Polygraph. Experience working in the national security community in a customer-facing role.Experience engaging and delivering presentations to executive leadership.Strong oral and written communication skills.Proven ability to work effectively and collaborate with a team in a challenging, dynamic, fast paced environment.Bachelors degree and 8 years of related experience.Desired Qualifications: Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph preferred.Graduate degree with a focus on in Management Sciences, Business Innovation, Engineering Management, Systems Engineering, or related disciplines.Lean process knowledge.Demonstrated experience working in the IC.This requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s): This requisition requires the hired candidate to have or obtain, within one year from the date of hire, the following clearance(s): Subject to all federal and state laws, rules and regulations, MITRE requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
