This will be 12 hour night shifts 7p - 7a, one full weekend every 6 weeks and Holiday rotation. Availability to work at least 3 shifts every six weeks. May also pick up day shifts as they are available. What You Will DoProvide basic and advanced life support treatment, care and evaluation of patients.Identify, intervene, and stabilize the ill or injured patient under the direction and incollaboration with a physician and/or Registered itiate and implement interventions based on transport team protocols. Monitor, record andcommunicate patient condition and treatment, as appropriate.Provide population specific education to the patient and family about the patient''s illness andtherapeutic spect, maintain and care for equipment to ensure safety of the transport team, patients and public.What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.Drivers License credentialed from the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles preferredPediatric Advanced Life Support prefferedOne or more of the following required:Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Paramedic credentialed from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Education:High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate''s degree, or Technical degree required.Additional Preferences5 years of Paramedic Experience, ER experience Preferred.Why Join Our TeamServing the greater Indianapolis area and Evansville, Indiana, Ascension St. Vincent has been providing rewarding careers in healthcare for over 148 years.
