About the Role As an Engineering Manager, you will be leading Glassdoor''s Content Contribution Engineering team. The Content Contribution team seeks to further Radical Transparency and grow the Glassdoor community by empowering the user''s contribution journey - a core part of Glassdoor. It includes everything from new user onboarding experience and registration to the salaries, reviews, interviews, benefits contributions. This team is passionate about ensuring that users have a phenomenal contribution experience throughout their Glassdoor journey. What You''ll Do Lead the overall planning, execution, and success of sophisticated technical projects Collaborate with fellow Engineers to discover new ways of building features and services Collaborate with Product and Design leaders to help scope, plan efforts and give thoughtful feedback on product specifications Craft expressive and shareable components that can be used across multiple flows Help team make good trade-offs to ship value to our customers Spend a portion of your time on code and architecture Provide leadership and mentoring to a team of 5+engineers What You''ll Bring 8+ years of hands-on building high-quality, secure services for high-traffic websites. Experience with React (or an equivalent framework), Node, and NPM Experience with CSS3 Experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs 3+ years of leading a team of software engineers Consistent track record of leading and developing partnership with cross-functional teams Demonstrated ability to partner with business and internal stakeholders to define roadmaps Strong sense of ownership and taking initiative while empowering others to do the same Experience building products and services in an agile environment. Effective written and verbal communicator. Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science or a technical field (Engineering, Math, etc), or equivalent work experience. Strong desire to add to our culture of diversity, equity and inclusion. Compensation and Benefits Base Salary Range*: $193,000 - $289,500 *Glassdoor base salaries are targeted to the market 75th percentile for technical roles and the 65th percentile for non-technical roles. In other words, 65-75% of comparable organizations in our industry will pay less.
