For more information, please visit ResponsibilitiesGuidehouse is seeking candidates with extensive knowledge of and handson experience using MS-SQLServer, Oracle and DB2 databases and other associated development tools to develop and maintain an enterprise data warehouse in support of business intelligence and analytics. The Data Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for identifying methods to optimize data consumption by consolidating data from multiple sources into a unified data structure, transforming, manipulating, and modifying data format or structure to meet customer needs, and improving ETL or ELT jobs to prepare data for consumption by downstream systems or visualization tools. This candidate will interact with internal and external team members to provide technical solutions using Agile methodology. This position requires the individual to provide planning, estimation, scheduling, prioritization and coordination of technical activities related to report development with multiple stakeholders. Accountable to business and technology management for end-to-end application scoping, planning, development and delivery that meets and exceeds quality standards. Job Description/Responsibilities: Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge and success in designing and implementing data warehouse solutions, including the following: 7+ years as a Data Warehouse Specialist Experience using Embarcadero ER/Studio Data Architect, Embarcadero ER/Studio Repository, and Embarcadero ER/Studio Portal Experience using IBM Infosphere Experience with MS SSIS Packages SAS Worked with databases including MS-SQLServer 2012, 2016, Oracle v 12, 19c, and DB2 Ver 8 and Ver 10 Experience writing and debugging SQL queries using tools such as SQL Developer and Toad Data Point Experience using SQL Server 2008 studio - Microsoft Management Studio, SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio, Integration Services ,Performance Tools (Database Engine Tuning Advisor & SQL Profiler) LUS version Putty File transmission using SFTP, FTP, WINSCP Investigate, cleanse and manage data IBM Quality Stage Development experience using Python Apache Tomcat Windows Task Scheduler Effective analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple parallel assignments and meet specified milestones Ensures delivered solutions meets technical and functional/non-functional performance requirements within Manage day to day technical challenges and communicate to project manager any risks or issues associated with the development activities Client-facing experience in a consulting environment among mid-level to senior leadership Fantastic communicator at all levels Ability to perform training and mentorship Creates, manages and maintains required project documentation Build strong working relationships and manage and resolve client and team challenges Answering questions and providing direction to less-experienced staff QualificationsRequired: Minimum Years of Experience: 7 Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor''s degree from an accredited college or university Skills: Embarcadero ER/Studio Data Architect, Embarcadero ER/Studio Repository, and Embarcadero ER/Studio Portal IBM Infosphere MS SSIS Packages SAS MS-SQLServer 2012, 2016, Oracle v 12, 19c, and DB2 Ver 8 and Ver 10 SQL Developer and Toad Data Point SQL Server 2008 studio - Microsoft Management Studio, SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio, Integration Services ,Performance Tools (Database Engine Tuning Advisor & SQL Profiler) LUS version Putty SFTP, FTP, WINSCP IBM Quality Stage Apache Tomcat Windows Task Scheduler Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Professional Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) Preferred: Prior experience with EMC Greenplum MPP, Command center and web analytics Prior experience with Experience in TFS GIT Prior experience with Python Additional RequirementsThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
