Patient Service Representative- Mill Valley Pediatrics

Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians is seeking a part-time Patient Service Representative for our Mill Valley Pediatrics office in Marysville, OH. The Patient Service Representative is a key point of contact for patients and provides patients and guests with a positive customer service experience from start to finish during their visit. This position works closely with patients, clinical teams, and business offices on accurately checking in, collecting ID and insurance cards, signatures and copay/deductible, and checking out. Responsibilities include ensuring timely patient flow into exam rooms, reporting any delays to the patients and/or Physician teams and operating the front office. The Patient Service Representative ensures that patient satisfaction goals are met or exceeded. This is a part-time role working first shift hours Monday 9a-1p, Tues 8a-5p, Wed 8a-5p. Duties/Responsibilities:Checking patients in and outVerifying patient demographics and insuranceCollecting Co-paysScanning/IndexingAnswering phones and directing to the proper officeScheduling of patientsDocumenting in Electronic Medical RecordsOpening and closing the officeOther duties as assigned RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalentPrior medical office experience preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of Electronic Health Records systems preferredMust have proficient computer skills.
