Find your future with us.The Boeing Global Service Engineering team seeks an engineer to join the Training and Digital Services (T&SDS) Engineering Support group to provide Lifecycle Support of our simulator data, software, and hardware packages to training device manufacturers (TDMs) and End User Customers (EUCs).This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options (USA - Seattle, WA).Position Responsibilities: Research and respond to technical questions from customers to resolve customer flight simulator operations issues. Work with various Boeing and Supplier technical organizations to ensure a coordinated and complete response, and manage technical query backlog from customers to ensure timely and quality responses are provided.Perform various activities to support the life cycle of the simulator data packages, including research of aircraft development and trade studies through evaluation of service bulletins, change notices, airplane design documents (ICD, SCD, etc.) to identify aircraft hardware and software changes that require modification to simulator data packages.Represent training simulator requirements in technical meetings with airplane program engineering, aircraft suppliers, and training device manufacturer personnel.Work with training device manufacturers to ensure that all data, including information, ICDs, SCDs, software, are provided in the Boeing Simulator Package to meet Industry needs.Security Clearance: No security clearance requiredBasic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience : Bachelor''s degree or higher in an Engineering or Technical Field2+ years'' experience managing technical data content and configurationPreferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience): Broad overall airplane, airplane systems, and engineering skill setExperience with commercial aircraft simulation and modellingExperience with technical writing plus strong collaboration and critical thinking skillsTypical Education/Experience: Bachelor''s degree and typically 2 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification or a Master''s degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Export Control: This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
