As a subsidiary of Fluent, the nation''s largest performance marketing company (NASDAQ:FLNT), we offer unparalleled stability.Position Overview:As a key member of our team, we are looking for a well-connected and motivated senior sales executive to help accelerate our growth even faster by generating new advertiser relationships. The right candidate will be an energetic self-starter that can leverage their existing relationships and build new ones to grow AdParlor''s stable of world class advertisers. With a strong understanding of and passion for digital media, the ideal candidate will be equally nimble in selling into top tier brands as well as growing brands. This person will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and continually evolving team environment. Ideally, this position would be located in the U.S (Kansas City) though for the right candidate other office locations or a remote location will be considered. Our primary AdParlor office locations are Toronto, and Kansas City. Our parent company (Fluent) has offices in NYC and Boca Raton plus a few smaller offices in other cities.Responsibilities: Win New Business: Win a minimum of $25M to $50M in media budget annually by crafting tailored solutions from our Enterprise and Growth Marketing Divisions. Sales Strategy: Generate innovative ideas for how to ramp up digital advertising product sales; prioritize these and turn them into a tangible sales structure and pipeline. Partner with Marketing for necessary support and to drive qualified inbound leads. Partner with the executive team to provide market-based input for future direction and scalable strategies. Networking: Externally, help develop social platform relationships and participate in industry events. Internally, lead from within AdParlor by constantly raising the bar in the terms of the way AdParlor sells, consults and strategizes...Never be satisfied. Territory Building: Leverage relationships to establish opportunities with performance-based advertisers; manage 3rd party relationships for new business opportunities; generate new leads by prospecting new business opportunities, responding to in-bound leads, and actively participating in industry conferences & events; drive sales growth within assigned territory by meeting and exceeding sales goals, and maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts. Sales Presentations: Identify and understand clients'' advertising needs and develop ideal digital solutions; creating and delivering customized sales presentations in person and/or via webinars. Social Industry Knowledge & Networking: Act as an internal and external advisor by conducting regular research and continued education to fully understand and stay abreast of the ever-changing paid social and digital advertising ecosystems. Leading by exhibiting our core values: LEARN, CONNECT, SUCCEED, & INNOVATE!Requirements 5+ years'' successful experience in a sales role in digital advertising, preferably for a managed service solution. Deep industry knowledge and expertise in direct response and brand advertising. Background in media strategy, planning and buying is a plus. Strong relationships with media budget owners (CMOs, VPs) at brands across the US and Canada. Experience sufficient to be seen as a peer and thought leader by marketing executives and general managers. Ability to provide marketing thought leadership and educate senior marketers on how to increase the effectiveness of digital advertising. Proven strong personal sales, communication, and influencing skills. Sells in a consultative manner; there is no ''one size fits all'' solution and every solution/conversation must be tailored to the specific needs of the client. Highly analytical with superior critical thinking skills. Ability to research and analyze data from multiple sources. Strong business acumen, including problem solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative. Able to work independently with effective: time management skills, manage multiple tasks concurrently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Ability to work well with a team but ready and willing to do what it takes to bring a brand across the finish line. Adaptable, remaining calm in the face of uncertainty and rapid industry change. Able to meet aggressive client & prospect deadlines. Ability to learn new information quickly. Competency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Bachelor''s degree preferred, but a candidate with relevant experience is more important. Knowing how to have fun, both inside and outside of the office. Why join us?
