(Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager; The Robotic Programming Engineer will be responsible for the complete robot programming integration of automated systems throughout several manufacturing industries from start to finish including training and support.ResponsibilitiesWork with the sales team to evaluate robotic application feasibility throughout several manufacturing industriesOperate in a team environment to help meet or exceed customer expectationsParticipate in project reviews completing all necessary project management documents to help ensure projects complete on time and on budget consistent with customers'' expectationsResearch and stay current with best available technologies related to automationPlan and develop offline robot programs using 3D simulation softwareInitialize and install software on robotsSetup robot user framesVerify and touch up offline robot path programming, I/O, and logicTesting and debugging of automated systems prior to customer run-off for factory acceptance and commissioning onsite at customers facility for final site acceptanceProvide necessary robotic program training of automated systems to customer personnel Provide accurate robot documentation of automated systemsSupport customers automation systems both remotely and onsite if neededHelp identify and cultivate new sales opportunities by building relationships with existing, new, and potential customers/vendorsOther duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 2-5 years'' experience in automation robotics programmingFANUC robot software knowledge and experience is a plus!Material Handling ROBOGUIDEWelding WeldPROPainting PaintProCRX Collaborative VisionOctopuz 3D robot simulation experience is also a plus!Highly motivated team playerDetail orientedExcellent communication and project management skills Able to translate automation conceptual designs into functional equipmentProficient user of Microsoft Office productsAble to think analytically and creatively while keeping safety and cost in mind Possess strong troubleshooting skillsAble to operate on own initiative with minimal supervision, but also contribute as a team member working within the Electrical Engineering team and other cross functional teams including Sales, Mechanical Engineering, and shop floor Electro-Mechanical Assemblers Able to read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic machine schematicsElectrical controls knowledge and experience a plus!Allen Bradley PLC and HMIRockwell Studio 5000AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical Metalcraft of Mayville is an Equal Opportunity Employer:Minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identityPM17PI189141737
