Under the direction of the Administrator / Maintenance Supervisor:Responsible for the safety, security, and general maintenance of equipment, facilities, and groundsPerforms tasks / duties as assigned, including but not limited to installations, repairs, and routine maintenance involving: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), drywall, painting, landscaping, and snow removalEnsures all OSHA, fire safety, and other regulatory standards are followed at all timesPrioritizes tasks based on resident and employee safety & security, working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and outside contractors (as needed) to ensure timely and efficient job completionPerforms other work-related duties as assigned by the Administrator / Maintenance SupervisorQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent, along with maintenance experience / working knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and plumbing systemsMust possess knowledge of building codes and safety regulations and standards, including but not limited to: fire safety, electrical, plumbing, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) design, installation, maintenance, and operation, as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing maintenance functions in a long-term care (LTC) environmentMust be self-motivated, possessing organization and time-management skills in order to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environmentMust have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English languageCOVID-19 vaccination required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonableAdditional Information:Now offering the highest regional wages! $15.00 - $18.50/hour Wage Range 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday - Friday 4 Paid Vacation Days After 3 Months (PT/FT) • 2x Holiday Pay • Tuition / Continuing Education Assistance • Professional Development Paths / Career Development • Cross-Training Opportunities with Incentive Pay • Free Meals • Shoe & Uniform Allowance • Home-Like Environment • Collaborative Culture • Person Directed Care Philosophy • Corporate Support System • and Much More!Job Type:Full-time
