We empower our people to make a difference, innovate to make more possible and deliver to make it happen.Footnote: RS Group Brands: RS, Allied Electronics & Automation, RS PRO, OKdo, DesignSpark, IESA, Synovos, Needlers and Liscombe.Product Operations ManagerJob DescriptionDeveloping the capability expansion plans of the Allied Quote TeamAssure adequate cross-training across the Quotes and Data Management teams to assure coverage in both areas during times of resource constraint.Monitoring the reporting and management of material master data changes into SAPData integrity across the enterprise for product material creation and changeProactive influence of efficiency and system improvements ideas across material creation and attribute data, inclusive of updates and maintenance of necessary data product-like tools (currently Excel based) that are integral to accurate and efficient data workflow.Material Creation process and focus on improvement ideas for tools to enhance our capabilities of improving on scalability.Develop and maintain professional working relationships with:Product Management department personnelSales and customer service organizationFinancial business analysts, etcLocation: Fort Worth, TXRemote/Office Location/Hybrid: RemoteEmployment Type: Full TimeWorking hours/pattern (optional): 8-5, M-FAbout the roleThe Product Operation Manager role will focus on management of 2 separate small teams that manage the communication between sales and product management to price quotes and that manage the creation and changes of product data within the Allied enterprise system. In addition, this role will also be focused on setting, maintaining and reporting against service level agreements across multiple departments, managing team workload and capacity needs to maintain agreed upon commitmentsWhat we''re looking forEssential:SAP experienceCan effectively communicate (verbal, written and listening)Exhibits strong customer service and is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.Must have strong teamwork, organizational, & analytical skillsRequire five years of Industrial distribution experience in similar role.
