Cerner''s Interoperability group is hiring an Interoperability Project Manager to drive solution and project implementation ownership and strategies. The Interoperability organization is one of Cerner''s strategic business units focused on enabling clients to better understand, manage and engage populations to deliver a higher quality of care at a lower cost. By developing innovative solutions that leverage clinical and administrative data across the continuum of care including data from the Electronic Health Record (EHR), this organization helps build healthier communities, one person at a time. By aggregating data from multiple sources, health systems can view a more holistic record for their patients, which can prevent the duplication of tests, help avoid potentially dangerous drug interactions, and lower costs that are associated with these adverse events. This approach ensures that health care facilities are delivering the best care to their patients effectively, efficiently, and rapidly.As an Interoperability Project Manager, you will act as the solution owner, providing in-depth solution knowledge and oversight to project teams by directing and supporting a team of associates responsible for client project deliverables. You will cultivate and manage external client relationships to achieve business objectives, assist internal and external teams with solution configuration, testing, and troubleshooting, and educate and train internal and external stakeholders on solution functionality. You will also manage project risks and escalate as appropriate by creating project documentation based on contractual commitments and reviewing regularly with the internal project team. Working Environment Hybrid or Remote This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. LI-Hybrid Remote Qualifications Basic QualificationsAt least 6 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:At least 1 years of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, project/program management, client relationship management and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experienceAt least 5 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher educationPreferred QualificationsBachelor''s degreeExpectationsWilling to travel up to 20% as neededWilling to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulationsWork in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position Applicants for U.S. based positions with Cerner Corporation must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
