Wheel Repair Technician

Summary:This position is looking for a self-motivated and fast paced individual who would like to grow in the automotive reconditioning industry. This position will work on-site at our customer location. This position will be responsible for reconditioning automobile rims for our customers'' vehicles. This position will also have the opportunity to learn different aspects of automotive reconditioning such as exterior car detailing, paint prepper/masking tech and auto body work, if desired. Competitive hourly pay rate - no flat rate!1st shift hours: 7am - 3:30pm, Mon-FriEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Adheres to Company safety rules and policiesSafely drive and operate vehicle at all times while obeying all traffic laws Responsible for:inspect and monitor vehiclecleaning rimssanding rimspaint preppainting rimsclearing rimsWill be using a sander, angle grinder and paint gun Use hand held device for photographs, log-in/log-out vehicles and customer informationNavigate a variety of routes throughout the work areas while adhering to a time scheduleMust be comfortable moving vehicles and working in inclement weather (i.e. wind, rain, snow, heat, etc.)Requires the use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to: mask, gloves, face shield/goggles, non-slip shoes and/or other protective garments/equipment as neededMay be required to work overtime as neededPerform other duties as assigned by ReCondition Pros managementJob Requirements:High School diploma or GED preferred1+ years of wheel repair/paint experience preferredBasic computer skills will be requiredExperience in customer service or other related fields is preferredMust be 18 years of age or olderMust be able to pass pre-employment screeningMust have a valid and clean driver''s license Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in EnglishMust be highly motivated, self-starter and work as a team playerMust have high levels of attention to detail, be able to multitask and stay organizedMust demonstrate the ability to act professionallyNo travel requiredMust be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time throughout the shiftMust be able to occasionally move about inside the warehouse to access cabinets, supplies, etcMust be able to to occasionally lift, move, push and/or pull up to 50 poundsReCondition Pros is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
