The Behavior Technician will be working under the direction and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We provide early intervention behavioral health services, using the principles of applied behavior analysis, for children with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodiverse profiles, 1:1, in our center-based clinic in White River Junction, Vermont.Pay:$16.50-$21.00 Per hourStarting hourly pay is based on education and experience after an initial onboarding and training period. Then, you are placed on our payscale and are part of our regular performance evaluation and growth and development processes.Schedule:We provide services Monday-Friday, year round AND we are looking to fill multiple positions!Part-Time Center-Based Behavior Technician: 15-25 hours per weekEarly Intervention, ages 2-51:1 care (personalized care and instruction with one client at a time)Year-RoundSome flexibility with hours scheduled during M-F 8:15-3:45 clinical operations (plus staff meeting the first Thursday of the month until 5:00 pm)Full-Time Center-Based Behavior Technician: 32-40 hours per weekEarly Intervention, ages 2-51:1 care (personalized care and instruction with one client at a time)Year-Round8:15-3:45 M-F plus staff meetings first Thursday of the month until 5:00 (35 hours + staff meetings)Potential for increased hours for up to 40 hours per week after introductory period to work with learners ages 5-18 depending on client time available. (M-Th 8:15-5, F 8:15-3:45)Behavior Technician Requirements:This job requires the ability to follow teaching procedures, behavior intervention plans, utilize digital data collection systems, and document sessions daily with descriptive writing all designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).An ability to problem-solve in the moment, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, communicate well with families and co-workers, and maintain appropriate levels of energy to play, move and engage with children of various ages.Experience working with people with an autism spectrum diagnosis, other behavioral needs, or experience with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is preferred, but not necessary.A bachelor''s degree in psychology, neuroscience, special education, early childhood education or a related field is preferred but not required.
