Essential Responsibilities and Functions of the Job:Assists in the preparation of financial and business related reportsSupports organization''s annual planning/budgeting process, financial forecasting, financial research projects and analyses of operational resultsAssists in identifying trends and developments in competitive environments. Assists in the preparation of findings to be presented to senior managementSupports M&A processPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Accounting or Finance, accounting preferred4+ years of related experience. Previous experience in the insurance industry preferredKnowledge of GAAP and Statutory accounting policies and procedures preferredRigorous attention to detailAbility to communicate professionally and effectivelyTravel as needed to support financial reporting and M&A activitiesProficiency in Excel is requiredEAS ledger experience a plusScope of Job:Performs work under moderate supervisionRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
