IT Support Specialist

Helping employees with computer issues, preparing equipment and setting up new users, and monitoring the network and security. Sounds like an IT help desk position, right? Our IT Support Specialist will have the creative freedom to own the IT department of an exciting new start-up. After all, youre the expert!What youll do:As an IT Support Specialist at ERCApplication, you will be a team of one dedicated to employee IT issues while also considering the bigger picture. What new processes would make your or your teams job easier? We want to hear any and all ideas to improve the functionality of the business backed by past experiences and a little bit of research on your part! This position will evolve as our business grows and you showcase your skillsets but day-to-day you could expect the following: Assist all departments with their IT needs in a timely manner Maintain network administration and security Ensure new users are credentialed properly and have the equipment needed Purchase and maintain equipment inventory Catalog user and network issues to establish recurring pain points that need to be addressed Create new processes and research new programs and software to further develop the IT department and support business needs Establish and write processes in a way that all employees can understand and refer back to Assist in maintaining and attending to issues with the companys custom-built CRMWhat you need to thrive in this role 2+ years in an IT support role College education or equivalent experience Experience with Microsoft Azure Strong communication skills both written and oral Microsoft Developer credentials or certification in power apps, preferred Ability to manage time and responsibilities with little oversightAbout us:AtERCApplication, we are one of a kind.
