Find whole-person care, dedicated teams and staff, and a wide variety of medical services, all at our hospital in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.The role you''ll contribute: The OR Instrument Room Tech is responsible for the decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation for the main or, labor and delivery, C-section and all of our offsite clinics. Cleaning and distribution of Patient Care equipment, obtaining and tracking of rental equipment, cleaning and sterilization of all vendor instruments. Communicating with the OR staff to help with instrument turnovers, conflicts etc. Assists the OR staff with patient positioning and transporting.The value you''ll bring to the team: Accurately assemble instrument traysSterilize instruments.Return sterile instruments to their proper locationStock patient care equipment.
