Exceptional Risk Advisors is a U.S. based Lloyds of London Cover holder specializing in underwriting insurance for entertainers, professional athletes and highly compensated professionals. The candidate will be reporting to the companys Director of Operations to manage the companys business operations system. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAS database applications, IT processing, requirement writing, and software development project management to most efficiently utilize the application. This job will be based out of Mahwah, NJ or Winston Salem, NC Success Criteria, Qualifications and Skills Strong technology skills are critical, particularly expertise in IT processing, business requirement gathering, writing and management The candidate should have project management skills as it relates to ongoing system enhancements or change Strong experience in user test planning, project management, and ability to meet deadlines is essential The ideal candidate should be able to create direct channels of communication to software and application developers (outside vendor) that get the job done without extensive managerial interjection This position will work with stakeholders from all business units to define and document business processes and software requirements It is important that this position stays in alignment with stakeholders and management Insurance industry experience would be ideal . Essential Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Create functional IT requirements by coordinating walk throughs with users and senior leadership Work with IT vendor to deliver and maintain the integrity of the requirements and review wireframes of future developments Maintain, index, and manage changes to written requirements for easy reference to both manage vendors obligations and review with stakeholders when required.Manage budget of IT developments Create and Implement project plan for system developments Schedule and lead regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated on progress of developments. Agendas to be created in advance with required exhibits to support agenda Strive to learn business and its processes with the goal of creating automated work flows to consistently improve our customers experiences and employees needs Increase efficiency and improve both customer and employee satisfaction Protecting organization''s value by keeping information confidential Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
