The program compliance manager works collaboratively with the data managers and program directors, and senior directors to ensure that our data reflects that we are providing high-quality services and programming. The compliance manager ensures the documentation of the deliverables for DCFS Licensing, NAEYC, ExceleRate, and ISBE food program, etc. are accurately documented. The compliance manager will ensure the data and documentation complies across the Marillac St. Vincent program system and assist in long-term strategic planning to assess and improve sections. Duties & ResponsibilitiesEarly Childhood DutiesManage site Teaching Strategy Gold (TSG): adding or deleting staff and children and monitoring data input:(funding sources, site location, etc.)Work collaboratively with data analyst and program director to complete quarter TSG data analysis and attend the quarterly data meetings.Work collaboratively with the program directors and program managers to ensure staff is working toward school readiness goals with children.Monitor TSG data monthly to ensure valid data and that we meet the funders expectations.Work collaboratively with the program director and program managers to deliver monthly in-service training to staffWork collaboratively with the program director and program managers to ensure the documentation of childrens transition to kindergarten.Work collaboratively with the program director and program managers to ensure the documentation of the transition of children from toddler to preschool is in plete (3) Internal ISBE food audits per year.Work collaboratively with other component coordinators to plan education services integrated with health, mental health, dental health, nutrition, parent involvement, and social services.Work collaboratively with program managers to ensure that all staff have identified their training needs and have completed a professional development plan that identifies their educational and credential goals as well as their training needs yearly.Work collaboratively with disability coordinator and program managers in the development of IEP (Individual Education Plans or IFSP (Individual Family Service Plan).Work collaboratively with the program director and manager to ensure that all educational files, lesson plans, and documents are complete, accurate, and confidentially maintained.Other Outcomes and GeneralWork collaboratively with program directors to compile and submit yearly compliance reports at both sites.Work collaboratively with program directors to compile re-licensing pile and submit monthly/quarterly reports.Work collaboratively with the senior director, program director, and program manager to develop outcomes.Work collaboratively with data analysts, program managers, and program directors to ensure that the data entered is valid and plete audits.Attend staff training, meeting, and parent meetings as requested.Work collaboratively with program managers to track staff educational goals and milestones.Provide teacher training for new and existing staff on Trauma-Informed and other areas as identified through quarterly audits and feedback.Other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsEducation & CredentialsBachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or relevant field required; Masters Preferred; Must meet DCFS qualifications for a Director to provide Director coverage; certification can be Gateways Infant Toddler Credential Level 5 or Infant Specialist certificate from Erikson Institute, Early Childhood Credential Level 5 and Director Credential Level 2ExperienceMinimum three years experience in a role Supervising or Coaching/Mentoring teachers; Proficiency with Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold. Minimum 3-5 years experience teaching children birth to 5 years old a plus.QualificationsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to foster and work in a team approach. Able to demonstrate leadership. Ability to use abstract reasoning, problem-solving, planning, and analytical skills in training, evaluation, and program development. Ability that requires emotional maturity, respect, and patience for children to model appropriate behavior and contribute to each child''s physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and developmental needs. Able to attend to the physical need of children. Capable of providing for physical safety of active (infant/toddler, preschool, school-age) children in her/his care. Computer skills, software and strong understanding of Head Start child outcomes and through knowledge and application of developmentally appropriate practices.LanguageMust be able to read and write in English at a level sufficient to successfully perform required duties and understand and carry out both oral and written instructions in an independent manner.
