For more than 100 years, Radiac has delivered industry leading technology and quality products and service to the metal finishing industry.We are currently looking for a Process Engineer to join our team at our Marysville, WA facility. We offer competitive wages and excellent insurance benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life) plus a 401(k) retirement savings plan after 30 days of employment.Basic Function: Maintains facility, systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.Tasks:Inspect, troubleshoot, repair production equipment including hydraulic press equipment, industrial mixers, manual and automated production equipment, pumps, valves, and electrical spect, troubleshoot, repair pneumatic systems and spect, troubleshoot, repair/replace electric motors.Perform preventive maintenance on facility and production equipment.Use maintenance software to record PM and work order information.Work on maintenance required out of regular hours if required.Responsibilities:Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or spect and/or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs.Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as ventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished.Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.Maintain organized and clean work municate all problems and other work related issues with Supervisor or Lead.Receive, understand, and follow all written and oral instructions. Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety and attendance requirements.Resolve day-to-day issues by working effectively with others.Skills: Ability to communicate, read, and write in English.Ability to perform basic math. Familiarity with the use of hand tools and measuring instruments. Ample knowledge and hands-on experience with hydraulic, mechanical and electrical equipment.Ability to follow written and verbal instruction.Ability to read a blueprint.Experience and Education: Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing environment.Minimum of 5 year experience in maintenance department.Essential Physical Requirements:Ability to use hands constantly throughout the workday. Ability to stand and/or walk constantly throughout the workday. Ability to bend, stoop, or twist frequently throughout the work day.Ability to exert physical force to push, pull, lift or carry 50 pounds frequently.Ability to climb ladders and stairs occasionally. Ability to see detail at close range - 20/20 vision required with or without correction constantly.Ability to work in confined spaces occasionally. Ability to work in manufacturing environment.
