Are you ready to join our team?General OverviewThe Clinical Director is responsible for providing overall clinical operations leadership to the MGBPM clinical support staff and clinicians and possesses a strategic and operational focus for our multispecialty group. In collaboration with the executive team, site leadership partners, strategic partners, and enterprise colleagues, this professional shares responsibilities for development and implementation of system-wide strategies to support the clinical teams, patient population health, quality and patient experience and the clinical value streams within primary and specialty care. This includes creating alignment across MGBPM and MGBCP practices and maximizing quality, access, and value. Understanding MGBPM''s business model, industry and marketplace, the Clinical Director demonstrates the ability to assess complex situations, diagnose clinical practice problems and determine the appropriate course of action to enhance the effectiveness of the organization in alignment with core values. In addition, the Clinical Director shares responsibility for developing and managing new, innovative programmatic and service line offerings to patients.The Clinical Director identifies, develops, and oversees policies and procedures that support excellence in clinical practice and fosters an environment of care which reflects the mission and vision of MGBPM and MGBCP. The Clinical Director is responsible for establishing and maintaining quality standards of nursing care and other clinical practice within the clinical area. The Clinical Director participates in and maintains a collaborative relationship with all disciplines and departments within the organization to create positive patient outcomes, meets the needs of the sites and staff, as well as supports and maintains a professional practice environment.This position will have direct oversight of 10+ clinical leaders.Qualifications ExperienceRequired: Ten years of progressive health care management and clinical experience required. Required: A minimum of 5 years work experience in healthcare quality improvement and working knowledge of performance improvement strategies, Lean methodology, process improvement tools and patient safety, risk management, and customer service conceptsPreferred: Experience and management in a physician practice setting highly desirableEducation/DegreePreferred: Bachelors/ Masters in nursing, healthcare quality, management, or a health-related fieldLicensure, Certifications, or RegistrationRequired: Current Massachusetts RN licensurePreferred: NP, PA, MD, or other advanced licensureEEO Statement Mass General Brigham is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
