OverviewMulti-Site Physical Therapist Manager for Montgomery County MarylandLicensed Physical Therapist for leadership in Gaithersburg and Germantown We have the ideal position for you as our next Outpatient Orthopedic Regional Operations Leader!NOVACARE REHABILITATION, in Montgomery County Maryland is seeking a licensed physical therapist to lead our Gaithersburg and Germantown teams. We are the LEADING PROVIDER OF OUTPATIENT PHYSICAL THERAPY in the United States, is seeking a results oriented Physical Therapist to treat and manage our regional team of clinics. This is a treating physical therapist position averaging 75% treating. We have the ability to expand your responsibilities as you settle. We have 70 outpatient locations in Maryland alone!You would report directly to our physical therapist and Market Manager of Operations in Maryland and we do require at least single site treating management experience to be considered. The candidate we seek to join our team must have three (3) years minimum outpatient orthopedic experience. Managing multiple sites is preferred, but we are willing to train those single site managers for the next level. Your track record of success should include: cutting edge clinical skills, innovative management talents, complex program development strategies and forward-thinking problem solving. Key referral relationships with Physicians, Business Leaders and Case Management Companies a must. We would look for you to manage at least two OP locations in Montgomery County, able to expand responsibilities and span of control based on your experience and interest.Requirements: Demonstrated proficiency building referral relationships 3 years experience in outpatient orthopedics 2 years experience managing an outpatient orthopedic center Active Maryland clinical physical therapy license able to treat as needed Track Record of exceeding expectationsAdditional Responsibilities: Development of bench strength Growth of new programs/service lines Day to day operations and staff managementCompensation. We are flexible, adaptable and able to learn from our experiences.To apply, complete our FULL HR application at Requirements: Ability to lift patients using biomedical techniques frequently throughout the course of a work day/shift; must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds of weight alone. Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day/shift. Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written direction. Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions. Ability to push wheeled equipment throughout the facility. Fine motor skills adequate for scheduling and preparing patients, equipment, and supplies for treatment. Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in duration in accordance with state labor laws.Required Credentials: B.A. /B.S. Degree in business administration, therapy program, or related field required OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Masters in same preferred. Currently hold valid credentials that indicate meeting state regulatory board requirements to practice in state assigned. Must meet other required regulatory standards to practice. Minimum five years of clinical expertise required, including three years in patient care and two years of successful clinical management.
