Company DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the Opportunity This position will report to the Manager of Accounting and will assist with month end close, internal controls documentation, and billing review. The successful candidate must be willing to except additional responsibilities as required, work on detailed tasks and on higher level projectsDuties & Responsibilities Participate in month-end close processGL accounting, journal entries, analyze accounts, and prepare supporting documentationUnderstand and analyze variances for client P&L accountsPerform SOX review of billing files and invoice requestsBe Finance point of contact for client Account team membersRespond to internal and external clients'' information requestsImplement continuous process improvement in all areas of the departmentAdditional projects as necessaryParticipate in internal and external audit Technical Requirements MS Office and Accounting System experience required.SAP experience a plus, intermediate Excel skillsPreferred Qualifications Degree in Accounting/Finance required5 years of accounting experienceExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to quickly learn and back up other accounting positions on multiple tasksMust be comfortable interfacing with employees outside of the office at other locations, via phone, email and web meetings to gain understanding and obtain information to complete monthly tasksDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a variety of personnel across multiple functionsAble to work with a sense of urgency without hands on supervisionAble to display initiative & take ownership of problemsMust be a strong team player, flexible, and willing to work overtime when requiredQualificationsAdditional InformationWhen you''re one of us, you get to run with the best.
