What you will do in this roleWe are looking for a Director of Human Resources to join our growing company. This role will provide a strategic, innovative focus to the company, while also leading and developing company policies, activities and talent strategies. You will be responsible for managing all levels of legal compliance and implementation of the company''s values. To be successful, you will bring industry knowledge and implement strategic plans that create best in class talent management, learning & development, performance management, and competitive benefit and compensation plans, while overseeing compliance efficiencies. As a senior leader at MR Williams, you will have a deep understanding of your department''s impact on other departments and proactively work with leaders to solve challenges. Overall, the Director of Human Resources should be a strategic, self-starter who balances the needs of the company and employees. This individual must be collaborative and available to leaders and employees alike as well as making strategic plans and development priority while utilizing the HR team to assist in daily administrative needs and tasks. ResponsibilitiesDrive organizational effectiveness through change management and organizational development initiatives Staff, develop, and retain a strong HR team Build highly productive relationships up, down, and across the company Guide and mentor a team of HR professionals aligned to their respective groups as they strive to facilitate HR operational excellence through soliciting, gathering, and evaluating the overall business needs Leverage strong organizational development and change management expertise to create and provide the right resources to meet our business, culture, and employee needs Work closely with Talent Acquisition and pull from previous experience to ensure the business defines, attracts, develops, and retains high quality talent at all levels to support the growth objectives, opportunities, and strategies of the company Partner with each business to insure they are fully equipped to deliver effective merit, performance review, and compensation assessments that are in line with their respective business goals Work with leadership to evaluate and define skill assessments and forge clear paths and processes to close any identified gaps Required Skills/QualificationsBachelor''s degree in HR, Business, or related discipline Minimum of six (6) years in HR business partner leadership roles Experience managing an HR team Solid strategic thinking and execution skills with a willingness to roll up the sleeves Well-rounded HR generalist experience with demonstrated competence in talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, change management, and driving cultural change Successful track record of implementing HR strategies to achieve business goals with tangible measures of success Experience effectively working with leaders and employees at all levels of an organization to develop and implement programs that drive performance and attract and retain top talent Strong understanding of the business, its levers for growth, its change dynamics, and its critical success factors Highly motivated, driven professional who works with the highest level of integrity and has a proven track record of success in leading a team Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy and goals into HR processes and programs that are scalable, simple, employee-friendly, and adaptable to unique and changing business needs Strong analytical capabilities and driving all HR efforts Commitment to continuous process improvement in people strategies and initiatives Experience working with HRIS systems Advanced knowledge of HR laws, policies, programs, and procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Why M.R.
