You embrace change, thrive in a rapidly growing environment, and see ambiguity as an opportunity.About you and what you can bring for usYou are a Software Engineer / Full-stack Developer with experience designing and implementing scalable high-impact solutions / cloud services.You are very customer oriented, user focused and driven by their needs.You have excellent communication skills and can outline/explain complex technical concepts.You are a disciplined engineer who understands the importance of high standards, and constantly striving for excellence.You are comfortable with handling ambiguity / uncertainty and a changing environmentYou are passionate about technology and will articulate your perspectives, opinions, or position and with peers/superiors.You have knowledge of open-source standards, tools, and processes.Required Qualifications / skills:MS or BS degree in CS and with needed level of domain specific experience related to the functional area. Relevant experience in cloud infrastructure, design, and delivery of cloud services.Good grasp of Computer Science fundamentals including Data structures, Algorithms, Programming Paradigms and Design patterns.Proficient in Python, Java, REST services and React.Working knowledge of Terraform, configuration and automation tools such as Chef, Ansible.Experience of Micro-service frameworks such as Drop Wizard, Spring Boot.Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket, Jenkins/Hudson, Maven/Gradle.Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills and a team playerAble to effectively communicate technical ideas verbally and in writing technical proposals, design specs, architecture diagrams and presentationsPreferred Qualifications / skills:Understanding of Networking Infrastructure in like VCNs, Load Balancers, Peering and Routing gateways highly desirableFamiliarity with developing declarative, interactive environments - React, Node js, TypeScriptFamiliarity with identity management protocols such as OAUTH, SAML will be a significant advantageExposure to containerization and orchestrations with Docker / KubernetesKnowledge of open-source standards, tools, common service-oriented design patterns and service-to-service communication protocolsKnowledge of secure coding concepts and design will be a significant advantage.Exposure to monitoring, metrics and building dashboards (e.g., Grafana, Kibana) will be an added advantageAbout UsInnovation starts with inclusion at Oracle.
