Find your future with us.Boeing Test & Evaluation is seeking an Associate Methods Process Analyst to work in the Seattle, WA area. The ideal candidate will utilize manufacturing operations knowledge and business acumen to partner with cross functional teams from operations, engineering, quality, supplier management, materials management, and program management to achieve organizational business goals and objectives. We are looking for dynamic thinkers, problem solvers, and leaders to drive results as Boeing continues its journey to becoming a Global Industrial Champion. While the base location for this group is in Seattle, this position may include being based at other Puget Sound locations such as Everett or Renton for extended durations, and one needs to be able to travel between these locations as needed. Must be willing to travel to remote sites for short durations to support test activities outside the Puget Sound area. Position responsibilities:Analyze the current and future business environment and develop forecast, acquisition and utilization plans to optimize resources in support of company initiatives and program business plansDevelop test program labor hour estimates for new or revised work packages to support program business plans under the guidance of experienced analyst Monitor performance to planUnder the guidance of more experienced analysts develop integrated plans Implement improvements to processes by analyzing current processes and utilizing established improvement methodologies to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to support company improvement initiativesUnder guidance of experienced analyst, analyze changes to approved plans resulting from unplanned events. Assesses the impact of the changes that occur to cost, schedule, resources and delivery Under the guidance of more experienced analyst develop modifications to existing plans and obtains approval for plan changes Participate in negotiations representing Fabrication Assembly Set-up and Test or Flight Test Maintenance to support schedule commitments or statement of work impactsDevelop, implements, maintains and status integrated shop operating plans to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to reduce inventory and meet cost and schedule commitments Under the guidance of more experienced analyst develop and supports shop performance metrics by analyzing data in order to recommend plan of actionAssess readiness of work statement components, provide status, and develop mitigation plans This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)Bachelor''s degree or higherExperience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and WordAbility to walk, stand, and enter into aircraft via steps or laddersPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):1+ years experience in a manufacturing or test environmentExperience with LEAN principlesExperience with improvement projects Typical Education & Experience: Bachelor''s degree and typically 3 or more years'' related work experience, a Master''s degree and typically 1 or more years'' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
