The Senior Engineer, Electrical Engineering supports day-to-day operational status and upkeep of multiple test stands across Collins Aerospace. They work closely with equipment suppliers, Collins Aftermarket organization and maintenance technicians, providing on-site technical support for specialized aircraft component test equipment.The Senior Engineer participates in product development activities, executes tests, produces parts, designs and sketches, following appropriate Electrical Engineering design, safety and qualification standards. The Senior Engineer travels to multiple Collins Aerospace sights, locations and customers. Primary Responsibilities:Perform engineering duties including manufacturing planning, installation, operation and maintenance of electrical apparatus to ensure projects are completed on-time and as per the defined goals.Develop or perform operational, maintenance or testing procedures of electronic products, components, equipment or systems for effectiveness and efficiency of engineering processes.Prepare, review or maintain maintenance schedules, design documentation or operational reports and charts to track progress and performance.Troubleshoot electrical device problems to resolve issues efficiently.Design, fabricate, modify and evaluate electronic apparatus, components or circuitry used in other equipment and devices.Analyze and evaluate new or improved electronic components.
