Eatons Aerospace sector, Fluid and Electrical Distribution division, is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team on 1st Shift. This position is based at our Bethel, CT facility. Starting Pay: $25.00/hour + competitive benefits package and 401K this function you will: Coordinate maintenance of toolingAssist with repair/maintenance of all machinery, welding machines, and other equipment Perform visual inspection of equipmentDesign and fabrication of test and production equipment such as pressure cyclers, water flow stands, hydraulic and pneumatic stands, and vacuum systemsRecommend design and process improvements to enhance manufacturabilityPerform building maintenancePerform monthly Preventative Maintenance checksProvide plumbing and HVAC services for manufacturing plantWhen we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger.QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution required Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment required.Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ''Green Card Holder''), Political Asylee, or Refugee. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Bethel, CT will be considered.
