Lineage is looking for an Insurance Manager to support the implementation and operation of Lineage''s risk management and insurance program across Europe. We are looking for an analytical, innovative, solution-oriented person with the desire and ability to drive improvement, identify efficiencies, and partner with our European colleagues to implement and communicate insurance solutions for our fast growing organization. The role will be based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and report to Lineage''s Director of Risk Management, based in Irvine CA, and will work closely with Lineage''s Commercial, Operational, Finance and Legal Teams in Europe.Job Responsibilities: The position will be responsible for the following:Partner with stakeholders across Lineage to identify existing and emerging operational and financial risks;In connection with Lineage''s insurance broker, and the Lineage Risk Management team, design insurance solutions for those risks,Serve as the regional lead for all lines of insurance, whether locally sourced or part of the corporate global programs.Work on the integration of mergers and acquisitions into local and global insurance programsProvide support to internal and external claims team on large and complex claims, including guidance on coverage terms and limits;Collaborate and work effectively on cross-functional teams with Finance, Legal, HR, Real Estate, Health & Safety and Corporate Security on various risk management programs and initiatives development of policies and playbooks.Job Qualifications: The ideal candidate will embrace innovation and possess a strong work ethic and professional persona in addition to the following:5+ years corporate risk management and /or insurance related work experience.Demonstrated understanding of global insurance programsLoss prevention knowledge and ability to apply loss control to companies'' needs;General finance and accounting controls knowledge;General understanding of European Insurance legislation and regulation;A strong spirit of teamwork and cooperation and a confirmed ability to cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with people at all levels inside and outside the dependent decision making and problem solving skills with the ability to develop solutions in a logical and detailed way.Excellent listening skills with a strong ability to anticipate needs and design solutions to meet those needs.Language Requirements: Fluency in English required, additional regional languages a plus.LLPRWhy Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
