Radiance is seeking a highly qualified and motivated mid-level Aerospace Engineer to support Research and Development activities by providing advisory technical expertise, feedback, analysis, and other assistance. The anticipated compensation for the position is $120,000 to $190,000 based on a full-time schedule. Your compensation will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience, and education. Job Duties * Use experience in Astrodynamics to provide assistance in the design, development, and testing of structures and systems for aircraft, missiles, or spacecraft * Analyze aerospace product or equipment specifications and performance requirements * Review/assess new technologies for application in improving design of aerospace systems * Provide expertise in modeling, mathematics, Matlab, Python, and STK * Review/assess existing and state of the art space components, subsystems, systems, and architectures * Propose and review/assess new technologies and concepts as they are integrated * Conduct earth-centric, cis-lunar, lunar, and planetary orbital analysis for individual space platforms and constellations that can include thousands of space platforms (satellites and space stations) * Provide technical expertise to develop modeling and simulation capabilities and to support and improve collection, analysis, processing, data fusion, exploitation and dissemination of GEOINT collection Required Skills * Proficiency with STK (Systems Tool Kit, formerly known as Satellite Took Kit) * Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility * Ability to work both independently and in a team environment * Strong technical writing and briefing skills Required Experience * Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Astrophysics, or closely related field * PhD and 5 years of experience, or Master''s and 8 years of experience, or Bachelor''s degree and 10 years of experience Job Location Aurora, Colorado, United States Position Type Full-Time/Regular Salary 120,000.00 - 225,000.00 USD US Citizenship Required Yes Ability to obtain a Security Clearance Yes Polygraph Required Not Required
