Your expertise in infrastructure technology, architecture design, and performance monitoring will be essential in guiding a team that delivers multiple IT projects on time and within budget. Your team will look to you to mentor them as they work collaboratively to drive the strategic technology roadmap of the firm and implement high-quality technology solutions. In this role you will lead a team of engineers building and supporting one of the largest enterprise data networks and private optical networks in the world. Your focus on automation and the development of micro services in support of the provisioning and management of the data network will position JPMorgan as a technology leader in the optical networking space. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience Provide technical expertise throughout the software lifecycle including design, implementation, and delivery Understanding of cloud, virtualization, APIs (Application Programming Interface), and modern software languages Experience with developing frameworks that help increase developer and release velocity, improving code health and technical standards Understanding or have experience with Agile and Lean philosophies, including experience with JIRA and Confluence Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication Ability to collaborate with dissimilar roles to achieve common goals Expert in the following key areas: Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Benchmarking (program management, network management), Design (compliance, security), Network Engineering (planning, provision) Advanced understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design, performance and monitoring, best practices and JPMC policies Proficient in multiple infrastructure technologies Proven ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget Support an environment that identifies opportunities to develop others through mentorship and leading by example Adept at partnering closely with, and acting as a trusted advisor to, stakeholders across the firm to influence strategic priorities Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms Proficient in one programming language (ex.
