Required Skills: 2-4 years of experience as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO)Experience providing information assurance support, documenting compliance, or evaluating Cybersecurity posture in a DoD environmentExperience with cyber remediation of IT assets (desktops, laptops, servers, network devices, etc.)Analyze and/or administer security controls for information systems in lab and field environmentsExperience with reviewing government guidance, including task orders, directives, STIGS, or IAVAs for applicability and implementationEnsure designs meet applicable security technical implementation guides (STIGs)Conduct engineering vulnerability assessment of systems utilizing DoD approved IA tools (ACAS) and DISA STIGsIdentify technical applicability, remediate, support mitigation of IAVA notices and support metric reportingResearch, interpret, and provide technical policy guidance pertinent to information and system securityExercise creative thinking and problem solving to advance our business performanceDeliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet customers changing business needsSupport and engage in programs, projects and practices and strategy, and comply with all policies and proceduresFollow industry and department trends and developments to ensure services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practicesAA or BS degree (Experience can be substituted for educational requirements.)IAT II/IAM I certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+, etc.)Active Secret Clearance Desired Skills: BA or BS degree in a technical area (Computer Science, Information Assurance, Cyber Security )Experience with developing and maintaining Risk Management Framework (RMF) packagesExperience with vulnerability assessments using various scanning toolsExperience with performing, interpreting, and reporting vulnerability assessmentsExperience in working with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)Experience with developing and presenting, orally and in writing, technical information to non-technical audiences and clientsKnowledge of computer networking and network-based information assurance devices In this role you will work closely with the government customer and ISSM in implementing DoD and Air Force Policy on the DC3 networks. Member of a team of IA professional s responsible providing policy analysis, information sharing requirements, Assessment and Authorization (A&A) support for multiple classified and unclassified networks. Responsible for creating and validating system security requirements, establishing and implementing security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures. Will conduct technical risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems as well as assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout the system life cycle. Responsible for preparing documentation such as Risk Assessment Reports (RARs) for the ISSM/CISO, System Security Plans (SSPs), Development of Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms) to ensure compliance with Government and DC3 Cybersecurity policies and procedures. Will assist the ISSM/ISSO with the generation of cybersecurity documentation for system hardware and software assessments; assess the performance of IA Security controls for assess and authorize and assess only networks.
