RT&T, a joint venture of InDyne, Inc. and Amentum Services, Inc. is the prime contractor to support the Atlantic Range Technical Support Services (ARTSS) for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) headquartered in Patuxent River, MD, and with locations in Maryland, Virginia, and California. Background Information: This full-time position will serve as a member of Range Computation and Control System software development team within the Range Systems Branch''s Range Data Systems Section at the Atlantic Test Range (ATR) in Patuxent River, Maryland. This position will provide software engineering in support of multiple projects used by ATR. Duties & Responsibilities: Develops software modules using C, C++, or C software applications Participates with projects in the design and implementation of new capabilities Tracks software bugs within current software Responsible for documenting all work Travel of up to 25% of the work time as the team''s needs arise may be required Note: This job description describes the general nature of the duties and requirements of the job. Required Education, Experience, Skills, & Certifications/Licenses: BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering from a school where the degree curriculum was accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) Background in C/C++ Programming or similar Object-Oriented programming language(s) Proven ability to work well with a team of software engineers with specifications, designs, technologies, and operational implementations of software solutions Work within a large existing code base Self-motivated, able to work independently, and ask questions as needed Able to leverage the internet to find solutions to problems Possess a valid driver''s license and be able to pass Drug Screenings Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security clearance throughout employment Work Conditions: Most work performed in enclosed buildings.
