Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Systems Engineer (Level 3) to join the Customer Support Operations Center located in Seal Beach, CA.The Fleet Health Monitoring team monitors multiple airplane fleets and provides targeted maintenance recommendations for critical faults, enabling real-time situational awareness of in-flight Boeing airplanes. The right candidate will be a team player from an Engineering domain who enjoys working real-time issues with airline customers in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Seal Beach, CA. Boeing Customer Support operates on a 24/7/365 basis. All positions require a willingness to work flexible schedules and shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays if needed to support our fleets. Some travel may be required to support our customers as well as to have learning experiences to enhance your career.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Position Responsibilities:Working closely with members of the Operations Center to identify, understand, and provide pre-emptive recommendations for emerging aircraft technical issuesUsing aircraft wiring diagrams and fault isolation manuals to troubleshoot systemsWillingness to learn all facets of fleet monitoring and provide backup support as neededCollaborating with Service and Design engineering to analyze fleet technical issues and develop in-service solutionsDeveloping data analysis tools and methodologiesInforming and educating team members across shifts about the updates to our documentation and proceduresBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issuesExperience facilitating customer requirementsMust be willing to work 12-hour days during a 40-hour work week or 80-hour pay period, non-standard rotating work schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidaysPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Familiarity with 737 MAX or 777 systems and operationExperience working at or with airline customersFamiliarity with airline operationsFamiliarity with Airplane Health Management and FlightRadar24Typical Education & ExperienceEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years'' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years'' related work experience).
