Sr. Data and Process Analyst Overview of PositionThe Sr. Data and Process Analyst plans, performs, and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma) in the Consumer Payments & Communications Team. The Sr. Data and Process Analyst also diagrams and evaluates existing processes and also organizes, leads, and facilitates cross-functional project teams.Location: Remote/Telecommuter positionWhat will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.Collects data to identify root cause of problems.Measures performance against process requirements.Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.Provides cost benefits analysis.Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.Coach process improvement project leaders and others on appropriate methods and municates team progress and may deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.Quickly understand existing data on a wide variety of business processes and determine the most appropriate tools to analyze a given process.Identify and resolve problems with datasets as well as identify and create pathways to meaningful, statistically sound conclusions from incomplete or sub-optimal data. Identify and facilitate creation of process performance measurement systems.Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and business objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors and exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel.Identify, explain, advise, and act where adjustments are called for in the areas of project team membership or sponsorship, data collected or to be collected, data analysis tools, root cause analysis, improvement development, improvement implementation, and improvement assessment. What are the requirements needed for this position?5+ years of experience in management consulting, operational excellence and or process management working with data and providing analytical reportingExperience with Lean Six Sigma5+ years working with business intelligence tools such as TIBCO Spotfire (strongly preferred),Tableau, MS Power BI5+ years working with MS SQL, Oracle and Sales ForceAbility to collaborate effectively and work as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and critical thinking skillsHigh business and analytical acumen; comfort using data and metrics to diagnose root cause drivers of operational performance and prescribe specific improvement plansDemonstrated ability delivering business results in a matrixed organization, partnering with a broad mix of functional stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, across multiple stakeholders; judgement to effectively prioritize and allocate resources across competing programs to maximize impact and benefitDemonstrated knowledge of key financial concepts, including return on investment (ROI) and unit economicsMastery of analytical tools and skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsWhat other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Preferred degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or STEMHealthcare IT orientation preferredWhat are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
