Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual for personnel security and systems administrator support services for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Security and Emergency Preparedness Selection (SEPS).Job Description:Summary: To provide administrative support for Personnel Security Services to GRS government clients. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Participate in the implementation of a modern, web-based operating system known as eWORKS, addressing each phase through strategic analysis. Perform system testing to identify areas of improvement to better service SEPS, FDIC. Present technical demonstrations and provide training and trouble shoot impediments to efficient enterprise-wide operation. Manage and create systems access for various users, groups and roles. Assist in planning and gathering business requirements for data migration and any separate SEPS data storage needs. On an ongoing basis thereafter, analyze SEPS business processes and workflows with the objective of discerning the potential for process improvement, operational enhancements or further automation and document potential improvements and present new process designs to GRS and FDIC staff for discussion and potential implementation. Create test-scripts and preform in-depth testing to diagnose problems and ensure critical system requirements are met on an ongoing basis. Employing eWORKS, monitor, track, review, analyze, maintain, and compile vetting, pre-clear and adjudicative data to respond to various audits and reports (monthly, quarterly, annually and on demand) for consumption within SEPS and as requested by the Government Accounting Office (GAO), FDIC Office of Inspector General (OIG) and FDIC Divisions. Monitor system performance and represent SEPS in technical meetings as requested. Work with helpdesk and vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems reported by users. Works as part of a team; assists SEPS with any security matters identified in this SOW as needed. Provides advice, assistance and training to SEPS personnel security unit personnel. Requirement: Four (4) years of experience in working with comprehensive operating systems, analyzing results and providing formal recommendations that effect individual outcomes. Knowledge of OPM Suitability/Security standards as outlined in 5CFR 731, 732, 736 and 752. Knowledge of OPM Risk Level Designation process Knowledge and understanding of security regulations and policies affecting employment of individuals in federal government (e.g., EO 12968; 10450; and OMB Circular A-130, Appendix III) Keeps informed of OPM security regulations and developments to ensure compliance in policy affecting federal government employees Examine, identify, and evaluate various facts contained in written reports, discern information relevant to specific criteria and draw reasonable conclusions considering both positive and negative aspects Prepare, organize, summarize, document, and articulate information in a clear and concise manner Develop, support, and maintain cooperative relationships with others at all levels of the organization Security Requirements: Public Trust Secret clearance preferred Skills: Experience and knowledge using Microsoft Office Suite Experience in evaluating prospective systems, recommending enhancements, testing the various phases, troubleshooting problems and training personnel in the various facets under this job description. Skills in written communication such as technical papers and written work products used in presentations and oral reportsPhysical Requirements: This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.
