Position is full-Time in the EP Lab. No weekends, holidays or on-call requirement. There is a scheduled late rotation for procedures that run past 5:00 p.m. What You Will Do: Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.Responsibilities:Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.Prepare, implement, and document plan of care. Communicate patient''s condition to physician before, during and after procedures.Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.Perform set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures. What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Education:Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Additional Preferences: RN with acute care experience. Critical Car and/or EP experience preferred. ACLS and PALS required during orientation if not already certified.7AM-5PM Four days per week.
