Plant Shippers are certified and capable of working in any of several production or shipping areas - Hard Resins Shipping, Refinery Shipping, OFC Shipping, CTO Handling, etc. They are also available to assist shift shipping operations as needed. Experience (e.g., knowledge, education, skills, years of experience required to perform the role competently, etc. Do not list personal background only): Knowledge: An understanding of SAP and Excel, plant processes, shipping/receiving processes, and production flow for all areas. Also have an understanding of process control information as it relates to managing raw materials and finished goods. Education: Degree Level(s) High School Diploma or equivalent Skills/Abilities: must have strong written and oral communication, computer knowledge, planning and scheduling efficiencies, knowledge of plant shipping Other job requirements: Certified forklift operator, DOT/Hazmat certified, Weigh master certified, may be required to participate in Plant Respiratory Program Work Experience: 1 year plant experience/ 1 year shipping experience Travel Required: (e.g., number of days per month; domestic/international travel): Rare 2 Key Output/Deliverables (e.g., identify the key results produced through listing the primary five to seven duties and responsibilities of this job.): 1. Responsible for tank transfers and shipping of bulk raw materials and finished goods for the plant. 2. Responsible for tank inventories and transfer log entries for any transfers made throughout the plant that they are involved in. This includes bulk moves, trucks, railcars, drums, totes, etc. 3. Responsible for accurately completing area paperwork/checklists (loading checklists, verification forms, transfer log entries, inventory movements, bill of lading, etc) 4. Responsible for inverting, vacuum sealing and stretch wrapping of Hard Resin and Adhesive products. 5. Responsible for providing production support (as instructed by shipping supervisor) with direction from Production Leads as needed. This includes drumming, filtering, re-packaging, sampling, fire watch and housekeeping. 6. Performs task to ensure compliance to all Safety and Environmental.
