Job DescriptionJoin the Clean Energy Revolution Become a Vegetation Management Data Senior Specialist in Vegetation Management at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job you will be part of a small group that is part of the overall Vegetation Strategy and Planning Team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Planning and Strategy and will be responsible for planning, tracking, and reporting on vegetation programs and activities. You will build data management plans through internal controls, complete analysis, and provide recommendations to program owners. There will be a close interface with Vegetation Management''s Compliance team to provide requested data and program improvements. As a Vegetation Management Data Senior Specialist, your work will help provide a safe electrical grid and system reliability to our customers, employees, and contract partners using industry leading practices and methods. Create and monitor internal controls to include preventive, detective, corrective and compliance Provides technical guidance and leadership to Program Owners on planning, designing, building, and operating their data compliance controls Organizes, tracks, and reports on data compliance activities across the planning team to ensure compliance objectives are met Implement improvements and controls throughout the project lifecycle that will allow for more predictable results to develop plans, meet targets, and communicate the status of activities to upper management. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned QualificationsThe essentials 5 years of combined experience working with large data sets, data manipulation, data integrity and validation Experience developing dashboards and metrics using Power BI or other related tools The preferred Bachelor''s degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering, Business, Economics or STEM. Regulatory compliance or audit experience Demonstrated experience communicating both orally and in a written format to a wide variety of audiences Experience and proficiency with MS Suite tools including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Ability to derive sound business insights from the analysis of complex issues Experience in supporting, planning, and organizing multiple projects, monitoring, and reporting project status, and coordinating activities to ensure timely delivery"¯ Ability to integrate work across multiple areas, manage risks appropriately, develop and execute plans, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers Experience analyzing data in core business assets e.g. trees, poles, transformers etc. You should know ... Work Mode: When a return-to-office date has been determined, this position''s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.
