This OpportunityWe are seeking a highly-motivated Scientist with demonstrated experience in Cellular Therapy, Immunology, and/ or Immuno-Oncology to join our rapidly growing Cell Therapy Team. In this role you will contribute to the advancement of innovative Cell Therapy products by designing and conducting laboratory experiments, developing methodology, and generating and interpreting scientific data in a highly collaborative environment. You will be a key contributor to the development of novel technologies and progression of therapies toward the clinic.Essential Requirements (education, experience and skills): * Bachelor''s degree in a relevant discipline with 3+ years laboratory experience in Cellular Therapy, Immunology, and/ or Immuno-Oncology * Well-developed understanding of molecular biology, cellular biology, and immunological assays * Sterile cell culture techniques, particularly primary human T cells * Flow cytometry experienceDesirable Requirements (education, experience and skills): * Experience with assays to evaluate T cell function * Cell transfection/ transduction and gene-editing techniques * Background in drug discovery and development in the pharmaceutical industry * Basic experience developing cellular therapies including CAR-T/ CAR-NK, TCR-T, and/ or TIL therapiesWhy AstraZenecaAt AstraZeneca, any opportunity can be the start of something big.
