Job Number: R0149127 Information System Security Officer (ISSO), MidKey Role: Leverage te chn ical understanding of cybersecurity to create and apply solutions aligned to client''s mission. Apply specific functional knowledge, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Basic Qualifications: * 3+ years of experience as an Information Systems Security Officer ( ISSO ) supporting a federal agency or federally funded research and development center ( FFRDC ) * Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance tools and te chn ologies, including Micro sof t Office, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, and Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service ( eMASS ) * Experience with coordinating Assessment and Authorization ( A & A ) activities, includ ing developing and maintaining System Security Plans ( SSP ) , Security Controls Traceability Matrix ( SCTM ) , and Plan of Action and Milestones ( POA & M ) and supporting Bodies of Evidence and other artifacts* Knowledge of federal security regulations, standards, and processes, including FISMA, FIPS, FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-60, and NIST SP 800-53, including Risk Management Framework* Secret clearance* HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience with DoD cybersecurity or Bachelor''s degree* CompTIA Security+ Certification Additional Qualification: * Experience with system hardening, configuration testing, continuous monitoring, and scanning using any of the following tools or related tools and applications, includ ing their configuration and tuning to achieve optimal results with Nessus, Splu nk , and McAfee* Experience with COMSEC and cryptographic devices* Ability to analyze and communicate opportunities for efficiency, identify gaps and work very closely with multiple stakeholders to resolve Plan of Action and Milestones ( POAMs ) , and review and create mitigation reports from compliance and vulnerability scanning tools, including Nessus or SCAP* TS / SCI clearance* CISSP, CISM, or CEH Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 105,000 to 115,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
