Join the team that is ensuring one person- one identity.As part of its 2022 digital roadmap, Idemia - Exton (PA) is currently implementing a MES (Manufacturing Execution System) in partnership with MPDV to enhance digitization and data collection in the shopfloor. In this context, the Continuous improvement (CI) team is looking for a digital engineer whose responsibilities would be:Gather technical and functional requirements for the Go-Live through workshops with the supplier (MPDV).Analyze MES data needs for the plant to align development, implementation and configuration of the applicationPerform cross-functional coordination with IT, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Business teams. Get trained in relevant modules and provide training to MES end-user Ensure adequate testing and debugging of software application. Ensure supplier to provide resolution effectively.Maintain issue log and get issues addressed in a timely way. Provide periodic updates to MES Project Manager.Plan and execute the rollout of the MES in productionCreate system technical, functional & process documentation to define business rules and shop floor standard procedures.Resolve day-to-day issues & Identify improvement opportunities, recommend solutions and work with business to implement them.BS or MS in Computer science/ Information Technology/ Engineering or equivalent years of experience in programmingGeneral understanding of optimization concepts and business processes used in planning and schedulingDatabase knowledge and experience of writing simple SQL statements for data verification / troubleshooting or have the ability to learn SQL quicklyMastery of Microsoft tools suite MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, WordProject management skills, organized, fast learning traits and result orientedExcellent ability to communicate across all the levels of organization (IT, management, non-technical team members)An understanding of common manufacturing systems and industry best practicesExperience with software development lifecycles and toolsFluency in written and spoken English, with good communication skills1- 3 years experience deploying Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and peripheral manufacturing software solutions.Possible deployment experience with Hydra or other MES software, such as Wonderware, Apriso, Solumina or Critical Manufacturing.Preferred Requirements:One full cycle of software solution implementation (requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and commissioning)Hands-on experience with planning and scheduling systems in manufacturing industryUnderstanding of smart card manufacturingExperience in BI Report development will be a plusRequisition ID: 2022-4529 External Company URL: Street: 523 James Hance Court Telecommute: No Security Access Level: Access 3: Eligible to work in the U.S Work Schedule: Core Business Hours
