We value the professional and caring employees we have on the MTC Medical team who are dedicated to improving peoples lives.MTC is proud to operate the Bluebonnet Detention Center in Anson, Texas , where our employees strive to improve the lives of those in our care through robust educational programming, clinical care, and other resources.MTC and the Bluebonnet Detention Center are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team.Employment type : Full-TimeShift: 12-hour shiftsPay: $35.83/hour +$2/hour Night Shift DifferentialBonus: $5,000 Sign-On BonusIncentive pay : Additional pay incentives for various assignmentsA few of your primary duties include:Attend sick call with the physicians to see detainees; prepare examining room and equipment;Call the physician for medication and treatment orders and other emergencies;Operate pill call, administer medication and accurately and completely document treatment as required by applicable policies and procedures;Closely monitor all potential catastrophic illnesses;Provide health counseling and health education on individual or group basis, as required.Education & Experience Requirements: Degree in nursing, current, valid nursing license for the state of Texas or a compact state. Must possess current CPR certification.
