We Are Hiring: Nursing Manager St Vincent IndianapolisFull Time Sign On Bonus and/or Relocation Bonus Available!Shift Details: Monday - Friday, start and end times will vary based on case load.This Associate would be over one of three teams in the main OR (level1 trauma center). Excellent opportunity for a candidate ready to grow and take their career to the next level. You will have the support and training you need to help you succeed.The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for the OR and demonstrated leadership skills.Perioperative training will be provided to qualified candiates without OR experience, however, candidates must extensive have experience in a procedural enviroment. The training is a comprehensive 6 month program in perioperative nursing and based on the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) Guidelines for Perioperative Practice. AORN is known as the gold standard when it comes to the operating room.You will be hired into the manager role and we will invest in your training. What You Will Do: Manage activities, workflow and nursing resources of assigned nursing unit(s).Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within unit.Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines. What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.One or more of the following required:Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Registered Nurse credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Education:Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing with experience required.Work Experience:3 years of experience required.1 year of leadership or management experience required.
