Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced assistant director of nursing. This individual must be motivated, and able function with little oversight. The ADON is responsible for monitoring nursing staff, nursing activities, and patient care, as well as ensuring nursing activities follow federal, state, and local standards. Educational Requirements:Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing, college, or university B.S.N. preferred CPR certified Position Requirements:Must provide leadership and supervision to the nursing department• Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services• Monitoring nursing activity• Communicates changes to staff and family members as needed.Must possess the ability to deal tactfully and respectfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public.Must posse knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, including State laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long term care.Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.Proof of COVID Vaccination is required to be eligible for this position.We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
