JOB DESCRIPTION - CONTROLLER (REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)What is needed in this role: Bachelor Degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA with blend of public/private, Big 4 preferredStrong communication, both oral and writtenAbility to work in a very fast-paced environmentSharp analytical skillsOther responsibilities (Overview): Oversee month/year-end close processPrepare financial statements and consolidation for all entitiesReview/approve accruals, journal entries, and balance sheet account reconciliationsPrepare and review presentation decks to senior managementManage day to day accounting operationsSupervise and review work of accounting staffManage year end audit and ensure proper supporting schedules for external auditorsManage cash/banking activities and forecast cashflowAssist in due diligence for potential acquisitionsLead continuous process improvementUpdate and implement internal controls and policies and proceduresManage regulatory reporting and tax filingsWhat can you expect?
