AM Risk Management - Business Management The Asset Management (AM) Risk Management team, led by the AM Chief Risk Officer (CRO), is aligned to the Asset Management (AM) lines of business covering the broad spectrum of risks inherent in the AM business. The team''s independent oversight includes but is not limited to Investment Risk, Liquidity Risk, Counterparty Risk, and Market/ Principal Risk. AM Risk Business Management is part of the AWM Risk Business Management team which ultimately supports AWM Risk Management processes across all AWM business lines, functions and risk stripes. The team drives initiatives and internal presentations for the AWM Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and sub-LOB CROs to C-level management within AWM and the firm, such as the AWM Operating Committee (AWMOC), Risk Operating Committee (ROC) and Board of Directors Risk Committee (RC). The team works with members of staff across AWM Risk, as well as other Business/ Program Managers and stakeholders from key partner groups including Firmwide Risk, Finance, Oversight and Control, and Human Resources. The team also manages AWM Risk Governance Committees, globally. Role In the role, your main responsibility will be to contribute to AM Risk Business Management initiatives that are AM specific in scope. The work consists of ongoing, BAU processes as well as discrete projects that are strategic in nature. Based in Columbus, OH, the role reports to the AM Risk Business Manager and is part of the overall AWM Risk Business Management team. You will: Coordinate and/ or prepare materials for senior management, Board, and regulators, including, JPM Fund Board, AM Risk Committee, and periodic presentations for regulators (i.e., Federal Reserve Board and Office of the Comptroller of Currency quarterly updates) Lead weekly coordination of management meeting agendas across the AM Risk and AWM Risk Analytics teams Key Performance Indicator (KPI) process for AWM Risk reporting and Basel Committee on Banking Supervision quarterly metrics, and own the overall governance process (i.e., maintain procedure, document appropriate approvals when required, etc.) Lead the overall governance process for AM Risk oversight frameworks and procedures (i.e., maintain procedure, document appropriate approvals when required, etc.) Assist with preparing senior management business reviews for the AM Operating Committee and AWM CRO Maintain schedules of critical activities and deadlines for the AM Risk team Help drive agendas for AWM Risk leadership team meetings, Town Halls, etc. Assist with ad-hoc analyses as requested by senior management You: The Business Management Analyst will need to be able to understand Risk and AWM (AM specific) concepts to be able to highlight key messages from detailed analyses performed by the team or by others. Deliverables are often related to ad-hoc and unanticipated requests, so the Analyst must be able to deal with changing priorities, making good decisions about how to get the work done and communicating immediately where there are real risks to on-time delivery. Attention to detail and accuracy is critical, given the executive audience for much of the team''s work.
