Be a part of the team leading the nation in healthcare.Location4740 - ProMedica Hospice - Warrenton - Serving Northern VirginiaEducational RequirementsHigh School diploma or G.E.D.Qualified as a Hospice Aide in the State per State and Federal Regulations.Position RequirementsMust have one of the following:Minimum of one year experience as a Home Health or Hospice Aide iIs currently enrolled as a nursing student who has had a minimum of 6 months clinical experienceHas completed a Home Health or Hospice Aide training program or a certified/state tested nursing assistedCompletion of PCA course (Florida Only)Provides Personal care to the patient as assigned by the nurseProvides personal care to the patient as assigned by the nurseAssists the patient with transfers and/or ambulationTurns and positions patients who are bed boundAssists with range of motion appropriate for the patientAssists patients with mealsAssists Patients with toiletingPerform light housekeeping tasisObserves and reports changes in patient conditions and needs to the Registered Nurse/therapist
