Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic

Morgan Corp. is searching for a Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic for our Spartanburg, SC Division. Morgan Corp., a South Carolina based grading and underground utility contractor with additional offices in Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, and Savannah, GA, seeks an experienced in shop heavy equipment mechanic with at least two years'' experience in mechanical maintenance of heavy equipment, diesel trucks or automotive repair in a shop setting. Successful candidates will have a strong mechanical aptitude, and some experience in the use of computer based diagnostic systems. You must own basic hand tools. Good pay and benefits.To perform the duties of this job you will:Regularly stand for long periods of time, walk, use hands to fingers, handle and manipulate objects and tools, reach with hands and arms, lift above head, bend and twist at the waist, kneel, squat, talk, see, and hear.Regularly climb ladders, crawl in tight or confined spaces and lift, move, or push up to 100 pounds.Use near, far, and color vision.Ascend and descend stairs and ladders as well as walk on uneven terrain.Regularly be exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and loud noises.EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
