Find your future with us.Boeing is looking for a Senior Manager - Global Utilities Management to advance our path toward a sustainable aerospace future. The selected candidate has the flexibility to work in Mesa, AZ; Tukwila, WA; Berkeley, MO; Oklahoma City, OK; Chicago, IL; or at our Global Headquarters in Arlington, VA.Position Responsibilities:Provides utility services for domestic sites (energy, water, solid waste) and identifies, prioritizes, plans and supports utility conservation projects.Secures contract renewable energy sources, credits and offsets to support Boeings greenhouse gas emission reduction cludes establishing and overseeing multi-year contracts for utilities, renewable energy and carbon offset procurements. Includes companywide utility bill pay, audit and rate services.Provides demand and financial planning, management and cost controls for utilities.Leads external emissions reporting strategies and conservation strategies to mitigate risk related to increased reputational, regulatory and financial pressure on greenhouse gas emissions.Builds equitable, diverse and cohesive teams by encouraging multiple perspectives and intentional development.Business Strategy Development:Navigates through ambiguity and pressure using collaboration and relationships to achieve outstanding results.Responsible for the development of environment strategy, content and data for preparation of annual sustainability report, CDP climate, water security reports and future reporting requirements. Leads development of digital reporting systems and strategies to promote digital dexterity.Provides long range business plan development and performance oversight, as well as, coordination with cross functional partners (EHS, BRT, PD and F&AM) for development of priorities and funding levels vital to achieve goals.Leads sustainment and process improvements for multiple EHS&S data management and compliance reporting systems (utilities, waste, water, emissions hazardous materials tracking, chemical information reporting).Represents Boeing to external affiliations, community partners, business coalitions and board service.Manages Boeing Bill Pay Functions, including dispute resolution and final bill payment authorityThe position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. If located outside of Mesa, Arizona, candidate will be required to travel to Mesa monthly.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience leading or consulting on utility, energy programs with a focus on operations, including development of strategies, goals and implementation plans.3+ years of experience communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with internal and external partners.3+ years of management experience either formally or informallyPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, science, technology, economics, statistics or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in quantitative field.Leadership style that moves people to act, motivates and encourages excellence and innovation.Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets goals and strong skills in program execution to schedule and budget.Proactively and quickly makes sense of complex issues; responds effectively to ambiguous situations; communicates complicated information simply.Experience collaborating with internal and external leadership including Facilities, Operations, Finance Human Resources and Environmental, Health and Safety.Experience using business and financial savvy in order to craft strategy, achieve objectives, improve forecast processes and ensure compliance.An understanding of FERC and other common contracting guidelines for the interstate transmission of electricity and natural gas.Experience with complex contracting for energy services including Energy Savings Performance Contracting.Experience working with external organizations such as trade associations, UE EPA, US DOE and local utility organizations to promote corporate energy policies and goalsExperience in utility disruption management such that legal requirements are met while minimizing business impact.A leadership understanding of RE100, LEED, USEPA Energy Star, US DOE Better Buildings, regional SEP programs, and IMVP.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift:This position is for 1st shiftEqual Opportunity Employer:Boeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
